LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
WELCOME
As a Cognitive-behavioral therapy based facility, our goal is to help people uncover their true potential and lead a life that is worth maximizing. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will bring to light long standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
If you are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you are just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
ABOUT ME
I specialize in treating general mental, emotional, or behavioral issues for everyday people and families for over 23 years. My evaluation process involves an in-depth clinical and at times psychometrics, if needed, for children and adults so an individualized treatment plan is create to meet your specific needs.
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING
Counseling means guidance. Individuals, couples and families can learn new perspectives, coping skills, and positive behavior changing techniques through the counseling sessions.
Proper protocol demands an in-depth clinical evaluation to be performed. The clinical evaluation is essential in tailoring your treatment plan. Therapy sessions will be scheduled once a week until stability is achieved. On rare occasions when a person struggles in adjusting to treatment additional sessions may be added. In most instances when stability and progress are achieved a person’s therapy sessions are then scheduled in a more staggered manner, such as once a month.
